Austin ISD High School Senior Portraits in Downtown Austin, Texas
I had the honor to do my first senior session with a high school student this season. Where I grew up, fancy senior photos were not a thing that people had done in high school unless they were pretty wealthy, or tapped into other cities where those sessions were normal. So I, like many of my friends, had my senior photos done with my own camera in my backyard, courtesy of my mother—nothing like what I did with Sean Pavich, graduating senior of Austin ISD.
Sean’s mom, Jen, hired me a year ago to take branding photos for her life coach business and we had the best time. (You can look through those pictures on this blog post.) So I was elated when Jen reached out about a senior session for her son and suggest we meet at the same place where did her branding photos, outside the new Central Austin Public Library. What a perfect place to celebrate education!
Sean is pretty much the coolest high school kid. He is taking a gap year before college, and hopes to work with refugees this fall. Until then, he’ll be taking a much needed break at home—which sounds pretty damn amazing to me! Check out his session:
