Golden Hour Portraits in Austin, Texas
Jett is one my closest friends these days and also a repeat client, which makes my heart soar. (Nothing cooler than knowing someone liked your work enough to come back again!) Jett and I have been through a bit together in the 4 (?) years we’ve known each other. Jett was my husband’s roommate in college and actually baptized my senior year at UT.
Since graduation, we’ve grown into adults together. We both joined the Well Community Church, attend the same community group, and have vented about our fair share of #postgradproblems to each other. Honestly, I’d feel a lot lonelier if I didn’t know Jett and didn’t have him to count on being down for some Cow Tipping Creamery once (or twice… or three times) a month.
So I was obviously ecstatic when Jett approached me for new portraits to celebrate his new season in life. Now one year after graduation, Jett has done the #adulting thing for quite a while, gotten lasik surgery (hello, new look!), and grown in both his faith and in our community of believers. I loved the idea behind these portraits; photos are just for major milestones like graduation or getting married—they can help you be present, celebrate where you are in life, and document life as you know it.
