Welcome to my website, a tiny window into my life and my passions. Capturing the joys and major life milestones for my community has always been a love of mine. I realized I wanted to hold a camera for the rest of my life when I was in 7th grade and I'm still in awe that I get to do this for a living.
I dived into photography as a journalist and opened up my own private photography business in 2015, during my junior year at the University of Texas at Austin. I currently photograph weddings, portraits, concerts, events, and more—I’m always down to try something new.
And as a photographer, I get what it feels like to think you aren’t getting that. (Helllooo, I hide behind a camera for a living!) So when I show up to your session, my number one priority is making sure you know that you are the star of the show.
I’ve been told that I have a way of making folks feel comfortable when they step foot in front of my camera. (It’s the biggest compliment ever for me.) My dry—although also at times dumb—sense of humor is my secret super power. Get ready to laugh at your session; at me, at my anecdotes, even at yourself.
In addition to that, I prioritize capturing who you are in an absolutely authentic way. I combine my background as a photojournalist with the unique, vibrant style I have built throughout my decade of making pictures to make you stand out and shine. That means less posed photos and more of you simply living. I want to help you memorialize the laughs, the (happy) tears, and ultimately who you are.
